Introduction
Chad is a landlocked country located Central Africa. Libya lies to the North, Niger & Nigeria to the west, Cameroon to the southwest, Central African Republic to the southeast and Sudan to the east.
Chad has three distinct geographical regions, dry plains and desert to the central and north of the country, mountains in the northwest, and lowlands in the south.
CLIMATE
Chad has a typical tropical climate in the south with as much rains as 1000mm per year. The centre is a mixture of shrub and desert and a dry desert climate in the north. The dry season is between November and May in the south and temperatures usually range from 20°C to 25°C but can rise to 40°C just before the rains.
