
Later in the day, a friend with whom I was chatting, but with whom i had not discussed the issue, sent me a link to this picture. By the look of it, I would say it is a few centuries old. But it's the same thing, 'ideologically' speaking. So, basically, the Japanese have changed the means and style of drawing: they do not use ink on wood/paper/silk, but computers, and they do not have the same bi-dimensional style, with no perspective and no shadows, but tri-dimensional pictures that make full use of shadows and perspective; but they have the same 'ideology', same woman sexed up by a beast.
