Japanese art

Today I spent a few hours looking at manga and anime pictures. And again I noticed that the Japanese have a different way of perception towards sexuality than us, Europeans. First, it is more expressed, in that the Japanese sexualize even things that Europeans would not. Then, the Japanese tend to be more.... we wold call it "deviant", I suppose. They come up with imagery of sex-beasts, torture, outsized sexual organs and the like. Sort of nightmarish for us.
Later in the day, a friend with whom I was chatting, but with whom i had not discussed the issue, sent me a link to this picture. By the look of it, I would say it is a few centuries old. But it's the same thing, 'ideologically' speaking. So, basically, the Japanese have changed the means and style of drawing: they do not use ink on wood/paper/silk, but computers, and they do not have the same bi-dimensional style, with no perspective and no shadows, but tri-dimensional pictures that make full use of shadows and perspective; but they have the same 'ideology', same woman sexed up by a beast.
